Create Your Account

Creating an account lets you sync your reading progress, save bookmarks, and access your data across all your devices.

Why Create an Account?

With an account, you can:

• Sync reading progress across devices
• Save bookmarks, highlights, and notes
• Track reading streaks and achievements
• Join study groups
• Access your question history

Sign Up Options

Option 1: Email Sign Up

1. Open TheoScriptura
2. Tap Sign in to your account in Settings, or any prompt to sign in
3. Enter your email address
4. Check your email for a magic link
5. Tap the link to complete sign-up

Tip: The magic link expires after 1 hour. If it expires, request a new one.

Option 2: Continue with Google

1. Tap Continue with Google
2. Select your Google account
3. You're signed in!

After Signing Up

Once signed in, you'll see your personalized home dashboard with:

• Welcome message with your name
• Continue Reading showing your last chapter
• Recent chapters for quick access
• Reading Plans recommendations
• Today's Verse for daily inspiration

Secure Your Account

After signing up with a magic link, you may see a prompt to create a password:

"Welcome back! Secure your account with a password to sync across devices."

Tap Create Password to add password-based login, or Later to continue with magic links only.

Account Settings

Access your account information anytime:

1. Tap More (bottom right)
2. Tap Settings
3. View your account details under ACCOUNT

From here you can:

• See your email address
• Sign out
• Access all app settings
