Who was Job?

Job was a blameless, wealthy man whom God allowed Satan to test through devastating losses—children, possessions, and health. Despite immense suffering, Job didn't curse God, though he questioned. God revealed His sovereignty, and Job responded in humble trust. His story addresses why the righteous suffer.
