TheoScriptura is a Progressive Web App (PWA), which means you can install it directly from your browser without visiting the App Store. Here is how: 1. What does the Scholar plan include?

The Scholar plan costs $24.99 per month (or $207.42 per year, saving 31%) and includes everything in Plus, plus: 50 AI questions per day, create unlimited reading plans, create unlimited study groups, Interactive Biblical Timeline, Forum thread creation, priority response queue, early access to new features, priority support, and export all your data. Scholar is our most powerful tier for dedicated researchers, pastors, and teachers.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Cancel anytime from your account settings. No hoops to jump through, no retention calls, no guilt trips. Your access continues through the end of your current billing period, and you can always return to the free tier. If you ever want to come back, your data will be waiting for you.

Do you offer refunds?

What are study groups?

Study groups are small communities (up to 12 people) who journey through Scripture together. A group follows a shared reading plan, sees shared progress, and can discuss in real-time chat. Free users can join groups created by others. Plus users can create up to 3 groups. Scholar users can create unlimited groups. Groups can be private (invite-only) or open (discoverable by others).

How do the forums work?

Forums are broader community discussions organized by topic (biblical books, theology, prayer requests, etc.). Free and Plus users can read and participate in existing threads. Scholar users can also create new discussion threads. All forums are moderated to maintain respectful, constructive conversation focused on Scripture and faith. Anonymous posting is allowed, but we encourage real names for accountability.

Your personal notes, highlights, and bookmarks are private by default. You choose what to share in study groups. We never sell your data or use it for advertising. What if I miss a day on my reading plan?

Life happens, and we designed TheoScriptura with grace, not guilt. If you miss a day, you have options: catch up at your own pace, skip the missed day and continue, or adjust your plan end date. We celebrate progress, not perfection. Your streak resets after 3 missed days, but your progress is never lost.

Can I create my own reading plan?

Plus and Scholar subscribers can create custom reading plans using our plan builder. Choose specific passages, set your pace, and even share your plan with study groups or the community (with manual review for public plans). Free users can follow plans created by others or our curated library.

How do you protect my data?

Your data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. We use Supabase (built on PostgreSQL) for secure database storage with row-level security. Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor; we never see or store your full credit card number. Authentication uses secure, industry-standard methods including email magic links and OAuth providers.

Will you ever sell my data?

How do I delete my account?
