How do I know God's will for my life?
Published Reviewed
God's will is revealed in Scripture—study it. Pray for wisdom (James 1:5). Seek godly counsel. Consider your gifts and circumstances. Check your motives. God often guides through open and closed doors. Peace can confirm direction. Remember: God cares more about who you're becoming than what you're doing.
Why this answer? It starts with Romans 12:2, then cross-checks Proverbs 3:5-6 and James 1:5 so the summary stays anchored in Scripture.
What does Romans 12:2 say?
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God.”
