Peter was a fisherman called by Jesus to be one of the Twelve Apostles. Despite denying Christ three times, he was restored and became a bold leader of the early church. He preached at Pentecost, opened the Gospel to Gentiles (Cornelius), and wrote two New Testament letters.

Repentance is a complete change of mind and heart that turns away from sin and toward God. It involves recognizing sin, feeling godly sorrow for it, confessing it to God, and turning to live in obedience to Him. True repentance produces changed behavior (fruits).
Faith comes by hearing God's Word (Romans 10:17)—so read Scripture regularly. Pray for faith, as the disciples did: 'Increase our faith!' (Luke 17:5). Remember God's past faithfulness. Take small steps of obedience—faith grows through exercise. Surround yourself with other believers who encourage faith.
The Great Commission is Jesus' command to His disciples (and all believers) to 'go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them... teaching them to observe all that I have commanded' (Matthew 28:19-20). It's the church's primary mission—spreading the Gospel to every people group until Christ returns.
