1And I make known to you, brothers, the good news that I proclaimed to you, which you also received, in which you also have stood,
2through which you are also being saved, if you hold fast [to] the word—what I proclaimed as good news to you—unless you believed in vain.
3For I delivered to you as most important what I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Writings,
4and that He was buried, and that He has risen on the third day according to the Writings,
5and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the Twelve,
6afterward He appeared to above five hundred brothers at once, of whom the greater part remain until now, and some also fell asleep;
